The UNICEF Committee is responsible for guaranteeing and protecting the human rights of every child, especially those in disadvantaged situations. Its work is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which serves as the legal framework promoting the proper development of all children. During this committee, we will discuss two extremely important global issues affecting children: the forced marriage of children under extremist ideologies and the fight against child trafficking and exploitation. We believe these are urgent matters that prevent countless children from growing up safely, and therefore must be addressed as soon as possible.
