The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has been tasked with overseeing that the standards and norms within the organization regarding crime prevention and criminal justice are met. During the model, delegates will be discussing the Trafficking of Persons for Removal and the Trafficking of Organs in Illicit Markets. Throughout the debate, some topics that may be discussed include the demand for organs in illicit markets, victim aid and protection, transplant tourism, and the improvement of investigations and identification of criminal networks that participate. Finally, delegates must propose measures to address the gravity of the crime and safeguard global security.
